Formulating the plan

• Taking into consideration what was good from the two previous councils

• Taking into consideration what I admired and thought I could bring into arki from HS council and the local councils of other colleges

• Taking what I learned from my orgs (college org and univ wide org) and applying it to council

The tagline

Coincidentally, when I first planned the shoot I told Nina Pilapil that I might use neutral colors as independents normally do. She didn’t sound content with that and said “Don’t you want more vibrant colors instead? :D” and later on I decided to go with the secondary colors, and have more than one campaign color. Nobody said I couldn’t :p Days later I still hadn’t come up with a solid campaign slogan but I had a GPOA, and the night before ACAMP it hit me -that my plans could be linked to the three colors I chose for my photos. I told Patz about how I wanted to use colors and she started throwing words with “color” in them. Technicolor stuck instantly, and she even said “Yeah and you’d have a theme song agad!” as well as a Broadway reference haha!

And so, from the plans to the campaign..my ideas are next to nothing, unless I allow them to be touched by other people. I would be stuck and frustrated, had I always tried to find the answers on my own and in my own little corner..had I not ventured out and looked for great models to emulate or creative people to be inspired by :)
